Our Timeless Creator

Considering God’s Schedule Pt-2 ~ Message 57

Our Timeless Creator Season 2 Episode 57

This second part considers how and why God created a seven day week and considers why He established a day that begins at six each evening rather than at midnight.

A major error in attempting to understand future events is using our own understanding of how we do things rather than studying what God created and why.  How did it become accepted that Sunday is a day of rest when in reality it is Saturday that is a day of rest.

More than likely it is because the events that established the New Testament Church took place on the first day of the week.  Jesus was raised on the first day of the week, early believers meet on the first day of the week and the Holy Spirit came on the first day of the week.  God established the first day of the week as a day of new beginnings, a fresh start, a day of change.

If we are trying to understand God’s timing we should study the schedule that He established and work from there rather than search for supporting evidence to reinforce our opinions.
